While at a flea market, April O’Neil happens upon a strange scepter of Japanese origin. She brings it to the Turtles as a gift, but accidentally activates it, warping her back in time to feudal Japan. She changes places with Prince Kenshin, the son of Lord Norinaga, a power-hungry shogun waging war against the people of his land. The Turtles waste no time in heading back after their friend,...

ephemeralmusings answered your question: What Should I Review Next?
Turtles 3 afterward. :P
It shall be done.
tht1chck asked: Everything you post is quality! I don't remember why I first started to follow you, probably something zombie related... But I love whenever you post about An American Werewolf in London and your collection is one of the best I've ever seen! I don't think I've ever actually spoken with you before, but I do constantly admire your blog from afar. Hah.
crueltyandgrandeur asked: I followed you because of your Predator and Alien postings. And because you're real precious.
theonlyverdictisvengeancee asked: Hahaha. it's unique, and interesting. Partly because I envy your collection and partly because even if I somehow had one, I wouldn't have the patience to take care of it~.
theonlyverdictisvengeancee asked: Dude cause your blog is cool.

Alright my lovelies, looks like the winner is From Beyond, with Halloween 4 coming in close second.
To clarify, I have not read the H.P. Lovecraft story that inspired From Beyond, I just know the general idea of it, so the review will be from the perception of a horror movie fan and wont be going into detail comparing the two.

John Carpenter’s mid-’80s homage to kung fu flicks and old-fashioned adventure serials was a good 10 years ahead of its time, naturally it bombed at the box office. But Big Trouble in Little China would go on to become a cult favorite. And deservedly so, for a very simple reason. It’s fun.
Kurt Russell is mullet-haired, truck drivin’ good ol’ boy Jack Burton, a...

The Thing (1982)
Released the same summer as Spielberg’s warm and cuddly sci-fi drama ET: The Extra-Testicle, it opened to blistering reviews and poor box office. Carpenter’s career has never really been the same since, and he has often stated in interviews that the film’s failure soured his outlook on the filmmaking process. Critics of the film have often complained that the film is...
